Who these terms are between

This website is published by Wellness Dental, a dental practice at 6288 E Grant Rd, Tucson, AZ 85712. Dr. Duaa Hamoud, DMD is the dentist there.

"You" means anyone using the site. Using it means these terms apply. If you would rather not accept them, don't use the site — call the practice on (520) 214-2484 instead.

These terms are about the website and nothing else. They are not a consent form, not a treatment plan, and not a financial agreement. Those are separate documents, and they happen in person.

Nothing on this site is dental advice

Everything here is general information about dentistry, written for people deciding whether to come in. It is not a diagnosis. It is not a treatment plan. It is not a recommendation for you.

Nobody can tell what is happening in your mouth from a web page. Two people with the same symptom often need different treatment, and the only way to know which is which is an examination.

Do not use anything here to decide to start, delay, change or stop dental or medical care. If you have a question about your own teeth, ask a dentist about your own teeth.

Nothing here is a quote. The only figure published anywhere on this site is the consultation — $0, against a $500 value. No treatment price is published. What a course of treatment would cost you is worked out after an examination, not read off a page.

Reading this site does not make you a patient

Using this website does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Neither does filling in the appointment form, working through the questions on the site, or calling to ask about cost.

That relationship starts when you sit down with Dr. Duaa and she examines you. Until then nobody here is your dentist, and nothing on this site has been reviewed by a dentist for your case.

The consultation is free and takes about an hour. It includes a 3D scan and a written plan you take home. Nothing is treated on the day.

Results shown on this site are one person's

Read this part properly.

Where this site shows a before-and-after photograph, describes an outcome, or carries a patient's own words about their treatment, that is one person's result. It is not a prediction. It is not a promise. It is not a typical case, and it is not an average, because nobody has measured one.

Your own result depends on things no photograph can carry:

• the state of your teeth and gums when you arrive
• how much bone is there, and how your bite sits
• your general health, and your habits
• how your tissue heals
• what you and Dr. Duaa decide to do together

Two people who choose the same treatment can end up in genuinely different places. Dental work also changes over time — it wears, it needs maintenance, and some of it needs replacing.

If a photograph of a patient appears on this site, it appears with that patient's permission.

Much of the photography here is stock imagery, used to illustrate a page. The people in it are not patients of this practice, and none of it stands in for anyone's result.

Reviews on this site were written by patients, in their own words. They describe those patients' experiences, not yours. Any star rating or review count shown is a snapshot of a number that moves.

The appointment form is a request, not a booking

Filling in the appointment form does not book a time, hold a time, or commit you to any treatment. Nothing is agreed until someone from the practice has actually spoken to you.

There is no promised reply time on this site. We would rather say nothing than name a turnaround we have not checked we can keep. If something needs an answer now, call (520) 214-2484.

Please don't put clinical detail, or anything you would consider private, into the form. A web form is not the place for it. Tell us on the phone or in the room.

Please give accurate details, and don't submit someone else's without asking them first.

What happens to the information you do send is covered by the practice's Privacy Policy, not by this page.

A dental emergency means calling

This website is not an emergency service, and it is not monitored outside opening hours — Mon–Thu 9 AM–5 PM and Fri 8 AM–2 PM. The practice is closed Saturday and Sunday.

The site is provided as it is

This website is offered as it stands, with whatever faults it has. The practice does not promise that it will always be available, that it will work in every browser, or that every word on it is correct.

Content goes out of date. Services change, hours change, and what treatment costs changes. A page can be right on the day it is written and wrong six months later. If something here matters to your decision, check it with the practice before you rely on it.

So far as the law allows, the practice is not liable for loss arising from your use of this site, or from anything you did or did not do because of something you read on it. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility for the care actually given to a patient in the practice, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

Links to other websites

This site links out. A map and a directions link on this site open a third-party mapping service. Parts of these pages — fonts, photographs and video — are served by other companies too.

Those are other companies' services. They have their own terms and their own way of handling information, and the practice does not control what they show or how they behave. What any of it means for your information belongs in the Privacy Policy, not here.

A link is not an endorsement, and the practice cannot vouch for anything on the other end of one.

What is on this site

The words, photographs, video, illustrations and design here belong to Wellness Dental or to whoever licensed them to it. Please don't use the practice's name or its tree emblem either.

You are welcome to read the site, print a page for yourself, and send someone a link. Please don't copy the writing or the pictures onto another site, put them in advertising, or present them as your own.

Where a photograph of a patient appears here, it appears by that patient's permission — and that permission is for this site. It does not travel. Copying a patient's photograph off this site is not something the practice can allow, and not something you should do.

Arizona law, and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Arizona, and any dispute about them belongs in the Arizona courts.

The practice can change these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies, and there is no mailing list that tells you when it moves. If the terms matter to you, read them again before you rely on them.
