Dr. Duaa
Hamoud, DMD
Dr. Duaa Hamoud was fifteen when she took her first job in a dental office — evenings, weekends, and every school break. She has been in dentistry ever since: more than twenty years in the field, and nearly ten of those practising as a dentist.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois, and today treats families across East Tucson, midtown and the Catalina Foothills from the practice on E Grant Rd.

A doctor’s
promise.
For Dr. Duaa, dentistry is about more than treating teeth. It is an opportunity to improve oral health, ease pain, build confidence and support each patient’s overall well-being through attentive communication and personalized care.
“I’ve been on the other side of the chair since I was fifteen. I know what a nervous patient looks like — and I know what changes their mind about the dentist.”

Knowledge should
reach the chair.
Dr. Duaa is adjunct faculty at her alma mater, Midwestern University, where she teaches first-year dental students.
She completes more than 70 hours of continuing education every year so new techniques and technology reach her patients rather than sitting in a journal.
How Dr. Duaa
can help.
Family, cosmetic, restorative and preventive care, plus clear aligners and TMJ and bite relief.
Life beyond
the chair.
Dr. Duaa is married to Ali, her college sweetheart, and they have two daughters, Sofia and Aleesa — both keen footballers, which makes Dr. Duaa, by her own description, a full-time and famously loud soccer mum.
She is also the loudest spectator when Ali runs marathons and Ironman races.
Away from the clinic she travels wherever she can — especially anywhere with a beach — practises yoga, and will find a reason to throw a party.
